Paparazzi Shoes: Outfit Ideas

Hey guys!
On Friday I did a little bit of retail therapy after completing another piece of coursework for uni. These Paparazzi shoes from Office caught my eye a couple of weeks ago. I spotted them through the window whilst walking by the Office store in Glasgow and it was love at first sight. The colour is great for spring now I just need to pray for the weather! Although this is not usually the style of footwear I go for, I couldn't resist. I'm trying to get out of my comfort zone style wise and with 25% off thanks to Grazia magazine (should of been £52 but I got them for £39), it made the decision an easy one!

Rather than doing an OOTD I thought I would do some outfit ideas with these turquoise beauties as my starting point. Hope you enjoy!

Arteecollage Asymmetric Neck Tee: Two Ways

Arteecollage blue t-shirt

For chic style that can be thrown together during the morning rush, Arteecollage has the perfect blue T-shirt that will add a pop of colour to our dull British weather. Available in light blue, grey or pillar box red, these asymmetric neck T-shirts are a staple in any wardrobe. What’s more is that they can be dressed casually with jeans and a chunky knit cardigan, with a bomber style jacket and high tops or, if you’re feeling ultra feminine, combine with ballerina pumps.
As you may expect from Arteecollage, the T-shirt is made using the premium modal fabric, which is super soft and comfortable on the skin – making it easy to wear all day. The asymmetric neck line is a fresh take on your standard crew neck tee and adds another dimension to your everyday look.

The second look you can achieve with this baby blue top allows for an easy transition from day to night, especially when you’re short for time and need to spend most of that choosing the perfect lipstick! This Arteecollage t-shirt looks great with black disco pants or jodhpurs which can be found in H&M right now. FYI: Jodhpurs are really comfortable and easier to squeeze into than the disco pants!
A grey blazer or black leather jacket also keeps the outfit looking smart for a more sophisticated evening style. Finally, add black heels and a hint of your favourite red lipstick and you’re ready to go!

I hope you're enjoying my posts for Arteecollage! The brand is updating their website at the moment so keep your eyes peeled!

Topshop Leigh Jeans

Like most girls, I find it difficult getting the right pair of jeans that ticks all the boxes. That was until I found Topshop's Leigh jeans! They are super super soft, lightweight and skinny which is the perfect combination in my eyes. The cherry on top is that they come in shorter lengths which works well because jeans are usually too long for my short legs!

They are turned up at the bottom but still tight keeping the skinny fit the whole way down as well as leaning towards high waisted which means you won't need to worry about flashing any Bridget Jones pants! I chose the indigo ones but they come in a variety of colours and would fit most sizes! I think they have the comfort of leggings but the practicality of jeans. They are great quality, I've had my pair for a few months now, and still look and fit as well as the day I got them. I will definitely be repurchasing and possibly investing in another pair in a different colour!

Whilst we are talking about Topshop, I bought this ring today for £1.50 (bargain!) and had to add it on to the end of this post because I love it so much!

Have you tried the Leigh jeans? Any other favourites?

Arteecollage: Menswear Dressing For Mother's Day

Men's plain T shirt

If you haven’t already heard, it’s Mothering Sunday this weekend so this is a reminder for all of the guys who have forgotten who will be making a dash to the nearest shop to try (and most likely fail) at buying her something different from every other year. There’s always the safe option of a nice tea pot, a naff iPad folder or a tacky cushion. But why bother splashing cash on useless objects that’ll end up embedded in cobwebs in the loft when you can make experiences and memories?
For the guys who choose to take their Mum out for afternoon tea or lunch, Arteecollage have this blue modal classic T-shirt that’s both comfortable and stylish.

Taking inspiration from the 2013 S/S catwalk, this masculine yet laid back style made an impact at Giorgio Armani, showing that this style can be achieved with ease. Arteecollage have both round neck and V neck T-shirts available in Navy and Black which can be styled in a multitude of ways. Pair this navy T-shirt with some loose fitting chinos and a thin cardigan, similar to the ones available at H&M right now, which will achieve a slightly more formal aspect to your outfit on Sunday.
Suede or leather shoes from high street stores such as River Island, who have a good variety of both, complete the look. A suit jacket, which was mentioned in my Valentine’s Day post, is a staple for both men and women’s wardrobes and can easily take this look from day to night.
