Nails Inc - Polish Remover and Corrector Pen

Hey guys!
It's been a while since my last post due to being busy with lots of things which included turning 22! My lovely Nana keeps my nail varnish collection very healthy and for my birthday she gave me a nice little bundle of nails inc nail polish along with their Express Nail Polish Remover and Corrector Pen.

I love the nails inc polishes, particularly the cute names, but I didn't know they also helped correct and remove my nail polish! Bourjois do a similar remover pot which I always thought seemed quite gimmicky and so stuck with the good old polish remover pads! But since I was given the nails inc version I thought I might as well give it a try.

The first thing that hit me when I unscrewed the lid was the smell. The sponge inside the pot is soaked in nail varnish remover so it would obviously need to be pretty strong to remain effective time and time again - but oh boy its strong! I can imagine using it for a long period of time would give you a headache its that concentrated. Saying that, each nail was only in the sponge for ten seconds and it came out completely polish free! I was so impressed particularly because I had a top and bottom coat on too. The remover doesn't leave a residue like pads can so I don't feel like I need to wash my hands straight away and the strong smell is thankfully not transferred onto my nails!

After removing my nail varnish, I decided to give one of my new nails inc polishes a whirl. I am right handed and so my right hand can sometimes end up a little messy. This time around I used the nails inc Corrector Pen to fix the edges and it worked a treat! Again, the pen seems quite concentrated (although no as strong smelling as the tub) so it removes even dark nail polish with one swipe! I would imagine the sponge on the pen would lose its effectiveness once it is covered with nail varnish but it comes with extra sponges on the other end so can be changed when required.

I've honestly been so impressed with these nail polish remover products! Takes the boring bit out of painting your nails!
